One of the unique spots highlights the Chakwal Canyons, which is a wonder of nature. Chakwal has a lot of potential for the tourism industry. In this district, one can see a combination of numerous lakes, mountains, historical sites, forts, civilization, and Allah’s beautiful creations.

Picturesque Chakwal Canyons
Chakwal Canyons is a place near Dharabi Dam, Punjab, and the whole area consists of mountains in different unique shapes.
The potential of the tourism industry in Chakwal could be judged by the current visit of an Italian tourism expert who visited the picturesque points of Chakwal a few months ago. He revealed that a five-star location could be grown in the area.

I came to visit chakwal canyons on my motorbike, which reminded me of the coastal area of Makran Coastal Highway. The Makran highway has a variety of impressive scenes. The most famous of them is Princess of Hope.
These patterns are created naturally due to rain and the flow of air. At some points, they are very sharp, and in different shapes at another point. The view looks like a Hollywood movie.
I wanted to spend my time here and not go back. The canyons are no doubt an open-air museum of chakwal. The beautiful landscape amazes us.
Chakwal Jeep Rally 2019
In an attempt to boost tourism in Chakwal, the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), in collaboration with the local administration, held the first-ever jeep rally in the district in 2019.
The two-day event was termed a benchmark for the promotion of tourism in the district. The jeep rally was a maiden event for the promotion of tourist spots in the Lake District. Around 40 jeepers from all over the country participated in the event. A 22km track through the hilly area was prepared by TDCP.
This place is a private property that is open to tourists. I visited the site all over on my motorbike, and it was terrific. If the government department pays heed to promote tourism, this place can be a beautiful tourist spot.
